Zinc-nickel electroplating provides excellent corrosion resistance on cast iron and steel. Galvano Hengelo is highly specialised in zinc-nickel electroplating. Zinc-nickel electroplating is mainly used in hydraulic power transmission technology: manifolds, control valves and cylinders. We apply tin plating as a contact material within the electrical engineering and electronics industry. Tin not only provides good solderability and ductility, but also corrosion protection on contacts and components. Tin plating provides particularly good corrosion protection on copper (alloys). The copper maintains the high electrical properties and solderability.
